High Sound for Children is a non-governmental organization that promotes child rights and development through the media in Uganda. The organization was established in 2017 by a team of senior Ugandan journalists to advocate for the amplification of voices of children through the media.
This is done through a network of journalists dubbed champions and through media houses both traditional and online platforms.
The organization also advocates for policy changes through advocacy journalism to ensure that the various laws regarding children like those in the Ugandan constitution and international treaties like the UN declaration on the rights of a child and convention on the rights of the child are respected.
