High Sound for Children introduces Media Club at London College of St. Lawrence

High Sound for Children introduced media clubs to students at London College of St. Lawrence, encouraging them to create a clean digital footprint.

The call was made by the organization’s founder, Hadijah Mwanje, during a school assembly at the Maya Campus. She commended the school for equipping learners with essential skills through the London Spectrum, a weekly compilation of student-led stories presented during assemblies.

“I am humbled to see young people taking the lead in ideation, content creation, and production. This is incredible work that London College is doing, and we are excited to build on it as we unpack media for the young people here,” Mwanje remarked.

London College is also home to High Sound for Children ambassadors, Stacy Achen and Joselyn Apio who addressed the London Spectrum team on the importance of navigating media platforms responsibly.

The Headteacher of London College of St. Lawrence Rose Galabuzi expressed appreciation for High Sound for Children’s initiative and pledged full support to ensure the media club remains active and vibrant.
