In an increasingly connected world, digital platforms offer girls opportunities to learn, express themselves, build networks, access information and explore their potential. However, these opportunities come with risks, including cyberbullying, online harassment, sexual exploitation, privacy violations, blackmail and exposure to harmful content.
High Sound for Children (HSC) implements the Digital Safety for Girls programme to empower girls, both in and out of school, with the knowledge, confidence and practical skills they need to navigate digital platforms safely and responsibly.
Creating safer digital spaces for girls
The programme recognizes that girls have a right to participate in the digital world without fear of abuse, exploitation or discrimination. It provides opportunities for girls to understand the digital environment, identify potential risks and learn how to protect themselves while making the most of technology.
