YOU WILL NOT BE LICENCED TO OPERATE: MAYOR WARNS NGOS.

The mayor of NakawaDivision,Eng Ronald Balimwezo has warned that nongovernmental organizations that do not deliver will not be allowed to operate. Meeting Child rights organizations operating in the division, Eng Balimwezo said many organizations receive money but never get to deliver services which is unfortunate. “I will make it a must that for any NGO to be cleared, it has to give a report on what it has done, many leaders of these organizations get money and use it, and we will not accept this.” Said Eng.Balimwezo. He however commended some few organizations that have touched lives through their services promising to support them. The organizations operating in Nakawa will continue meeting as part of efforts to provide a linkage between them and the division leadership to ensure proper service delivery.
